Robert De Niro, born on August 17, 1943, is a renowned American actor and filmmaker, famous for his collaborations with Martin Scorsese. He is celebrated as one of the most influential actors of his generation and has received numerous awards, including two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe, the Cecil B. DeMille Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award. De Niro was honored with the Kennedy Center Honor in 2009 and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016.
Trained at HB Studio, Stella Adler Conservatory, and Lee Strasberg's Actors Studio, De Niro's notable roles include Vito Corleone in "The Godfather Part II" and Jake LaMotta in "Raging Bull," both earning him Academy Awards. He is also known for "Taxi Driver," "The Deer Hunter," "Awakenings," "Cape Fear," and "Silver Linings Playbook."
